A UX research collaboration with Quixel, focused on evaluating and improving early-stage photogrammetry workflows through real user testing.
Overview
This project was conducted in collaboration with Quixel through SCADpro, an academic–industry partnership program.
As early adopters of Quixel’s new photogrammetry equipment and tools, our team worked closely with Quixel professionals to test, document, and evaluate emerging 3D scanning workflows from a user experience perspective.
The project focused on understanding how real users interact with complex 3D tools and identifying opportunities to improve usability, onboarding, and learning experience for future users.
Project Goal
To evaluate Quixel’s photogrammetry workflows—including flash scanning, 2D scanning, and drone scanning—from a user experience perspective and deliver actionable insights to improve usability, onboarding, and educational content.
